Thinking Ahead - Taking a Journey

The mind clearly understands and identifies with pictures as it draws up and captures the imagination of our heart and how we see and draw up pictures to the principles we believe in.

I am on a journey in my life now that reflects back on the wonderfull pictures of seeing how GOD has stepped into my life and changed the paradime shift of pictures.GOD IS FAITHFULL.

GOD has brought so much truth into my Life.

                                          You may wonder where this is leading to ?

As I reflect, I am thinking and deciding of new pictures that I want to achieve in my life.I am also taking stock and re-alining myself to vision casting for myself and my family. The bible is full of pictures and we see Jesus Christ speaking of parables of pictures that helps us to conclude what He is trying to impress on our Heart that we need to follow in.

                        My dear friend how much of reflection is taking place in your life?

I attended a week long training last week and clearly GOD impress on my heart that
                                 HE IS GUIDING ME.

What a comfort and encouragement , I want encourage you to reflect back and see the pattern and pictures of our Awesome God.
Reflection for me goes with the following -

Passion - What do I enjoy most , what makes me tick , what energizes me?

Purpose - Am I forfulling what GOD has purposed in my heart , Am I in obedience to HIM?

Place - Am I at the right place, does the environment bring the best out of me?

Timing - What is GOD doing in me, is changes taking place in me , Am I moving with HIM?

This is my encouragement to you aswell - let us be obedient to the calling that is upon us and bring GLORY to GOD. GOD never fails us and we will do greater things - Do not limit yourself - take the journey, explore and draw up new picture.

Time Conscious

What a ride!Time is flying and boy do I think alot these days? The other day I realised I am 32 years old, I am getting old. Sometimes I joke with my wife and tell her I am 28 and at times I do believe it.

2 years ago someone asked me, Tell me how old are you, I replied I am 29 years old,only to realise that I lied, I phoned him and told him that I lied and that I am actually 30.

Do I live in Denial, certainly not,but guess what! We sometimes forget who we are in Christ.

We are prophets ,priests and Kings and the sooner we realise that,our times will be evident of that.

As a Prophet ,have a propetic eye view of yourself,Be positive,proclaim God's word in your life. God said in Jer 29:11 For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end. (Bible in Basic English)
God wants you and me to have un understanding that HE is time and that He knows the end, so my friend, proclaim biblical truths over your life.

Here is a question ? How much of GOD's word is in your Heart , for truly that which is in your heart that will come forth. Here is an amasing scripture in Proverbs 16:32
"Pr 16:23 -The heart of the wise man is the teacher of his mouth, and gives increased learning to his lips."

As a Priest ,you are set apart to do Gods will.2 Cor 6:1- 10 We then, working together with God, make our request to you not to take the grace of God to no purpose.(For he says, I have given ear to you at a good time, and I have been your helper in a day of salvation: see, now is the good time; now is the day of salvation) Giving no cause for trouble in anything, so that no one may be able to say anything against our work;But in everything making it clear that we are the servants of God, in quiet strength, in troubles, in need, in sorrow,
In blows, in prisons, in attacks, in hard work, in watchings, in going without food;
In a clean heart, in knowledge, in long waiting, in being kind, in the Holy Spirit, in true love, In the true word, in the power of God; with the arms of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,By glory and by shame, by an evil name and a good name; as untrue, and still true; Unnoted, but still kept fully in mind; as near to death, but still living; as undergoing punishment, but not put to death;
As full of sorrow, but ever glad; as poor, but giving wealth to others; as having nothing, but still having all things.
Being a Priest is to guid, lead in the above.

As a King ,rule my friend,govern your land,set your view on the horizons and you have people under neath you that follows your leadership. I am amazed at this Scripture,Isa 55:4 See, I have given him as a witness to the peoples, a ruler and a guide to the nations.
What is there more to say, my friend,time is of the essence,we need to make our mark now!

The Journey

3 Months into and still excited as can be.You know what! a racetrack can be exciting. Since we had our prayer and fast in the beginning of the year,we were constanly doing leadership camps.We have worked with over 500 leaders of Schools and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When you live your passion,you will take on any challenge.

My wife's Grandmother turned 100 years old in January and as a whole family we held a feast,we ate like crazy,had fun and did sports in a dry but partly wet river bed.

In faith we have rented a house and has turned it into our office aswell.

God has given me a word that I will travel the whole country and be HIS instrument,I am trusting HIM now for my own vehicle.

So why am I telling you this,simply because Isa 62:2 says And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Isa 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.Isa

62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

I thoroughly believe with my Pastor that this is the year of the open door. I will grow in my faith, believing that faith as a mustard seed will allow me to walk on water, walk in the valley of shadow death ,walk into a fiery furnace and yet not be burned,walking to face my Goliath's ,walking with my cross.

I want to challenge you to be DARING.Faith is the substance of things hope for,certain of what we do not see.

GOD can do the impossible and its time that we rely upon HIM and what He says in HIS word.Take some time out and allow GOD to speak into you and let me know.

I will be Victorious at the end of my journey.

Calling + Faith = Courage

Calling + Faith = Courage, What an equation?

For the past few weeks I have been really struggeling, to be honest.I felt not up to the task of leading an organisation,I felt that I failed GOD in many areas by not being obedient to Holy Spirit, I felt being a missionary is hard work and letting GOD down.

I thought of quiting.

Do you feel like that sometime? Hold On and read further ,

I started thinking of my Calling.The Bible says in 2Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Calling requires a response from you, mine was YES LORD.I knew from the day I started working with young people,I was a missionary.William Carey is my hero and particular This words = Attept great things for GOD and Expect great things from GOD.

What was your response to His calling on a particular work ,relationship and venture HE was busy with?

I started thinking of Faith. The Bible says 1Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.

We must endure,we must complete the race we must stand strong and finish well in whatever GOD has called us in Faith.There is people,young people that is looking at me without me noticing them and they are making sure if my Equation is Truthfull.

What is your Equation saying of you?Do you have an Equation?

Faith is as Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance,the confirmation,the title deed of the things we hope for,being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality(faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses)

Courage to me is the Spoken word of GOD in my Life as in the Life of Joshua.

Watch this in Scripture?

Jos 1:6 Be strong and of good courage. For you shall divide for an inheritance to this people, the land which I swore to their fathers, to give it to them.

Jos 1:7 Only be strong and very courageous so that you may be careful to do according to all the law which My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may act wisely wherever you go.

Jos 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed. For the LORD your God is with you in all places where you go.

Courage is Calling , Courage is Faith Unseen.Courage is God's Spoken WORD becoming a reality in Me and through Me and KNOWING GOD IS WITH ME.

GOD IS WITH YOU,HAVE COURAGE!

SHADOWS

This may sound scary but yet when you look at Shadows, it has got a significant meaning to it.Our theme for summer Camp this year is based on Shadows, I cant tell you how much excited I am.

Excited,Why you may ask?

Well everything has got a begining and this is my story concerning SHADOWS.When I was on team in the year 2000,we did a drama on the cricifixtion, I played the part of Jesus being cricified and it had such an impact on me that night.That night as we finished the drama,I went outside and sat on the stairs of our Chapel,my heart was pounding and I starting crying with a deep prayer saying "FATHER LET THIS DRAMA BRING PEOPLE TO YOU.I looked to my right and saw this huge shadow , I thought to myself, this cant be, and I started to look for a light that would reflect my image.

Guess what?

No light and when I looked again I saw a Huge Shadow and small shadow, I am getting goose bumps as I am writing this.

The GOD OF UNIVERSE,MY DADDY WAS WITH ME. I felt a warmth within and I cried.I could sense in my heart that what I was about to do the reflection Shadow of the REAL THING.

What is the Real Thing?
Jesus dying on the Cross for Me and You.

That is so powerfull my friends,I got comforted by DADDY that I am doing the right thing.When we desire Heaven to be be upon earth, as we pray the part in Our Father prayer - Let it be upon the earth as it is in Heaven,we are bringing the things of the KINGDOM OF GOD upon the earth.

Heb 8:5 says "... who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." The tabernacle was built on the image of the one in HEAVEN.I want to say to you that the tabernacle on earth is a shadow of the REAL THING.

There is things of the Kingdom of GOD that should be reflected upon earth,we should cast Shadows of it. Shadows of Courage, Love ,patience, peace and best of all dying to oneself and letting Jesus Christ reign in us, THE REAL THING.We have the blue print of it - THE BIBLE.

I know that there is shadows that brings fear.Shadows that is attach to us that we are afraid that when they are seen in reality it may mean the end of us,what are these shadows, they may be abuse,unforgiveness,abondenment, sexual immorality,drugs and alcohol abuse,unfaithfullness.

Children of GOD,my heart ache for the children that has got the REAL THING but their SHADOWS are keeping them in bodage. Summer CAMP 2010 SHADOWS is going to set young people free so that they will see Psalm 91 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most HIGH shall abide under the SHADOW of the ALMIGHTY.Other will discover the REAL THING and display a SHADOW of HIM by Accepting Jesus in their Lives.

Col 2:17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
A shadow of the things to come,I am excited about SHADOWS Summer Camp.Youth will experience heaven upon earth as they come to camp from 4th till 10th Dec.They will connect with GOD , with JESUS ,with HOLY SPIRIT. I am getting gooze bumps again. THANK YOU DADDY.

Treats

Treats are so delicious and it bring a smile around youre face,I have had so much treats this 2 weeks, so sit back and let me bring a smile around on your face.

Whenever I am around my family, I get so much satisfaction with their growth in the Lord, Desiree and I was on a camp treating old people and spoiling them, we did this with my mother in-law and family members, there were round about 30 old people, desiree and her 2 nieces got down and did the most amasing thing.

What you may ask?

They washed the old people's feet ,cut their nails, did pedicure and all those nice things that ladies like,I could see them enjoying it and it blessed my heart to see my wife serving with her 2 nieces, I was reminded of the lady who poured oil on Jesus feet and used her hair to dry his feet and when the disciples asked what is she doing, Jesus said - she is doing a great thing. WoW and among those old people were Desiree Grandmother who is 99 years old, Wow, Wow

My daughter has heared her boeta praying before food and so she hums it,the other day getting off from work,really tired and looking forward to a nice meal and having received it, started eating,just to hear this beautifull humn - Thanking you Father,Thank you Father for the food ...my daughter was thankfull and seeing the example of her boeta blessed my heart and I realised that THANKFULLNESS should constantly be on our lips,lets not be like the 9 people who JESUS cured of leprosy and was not thankfull,let us turn around and say THANK YOU DADDY like 1 of the 10, who turned around and did that.

Justin my son is growing up, When I look at him, I constanly say Father God help me to be a good Father to him, at times I get cross with him, just to have him at night times sitting next to me.I love my son and when I place my hand on his head at night times - I say Daddy let him become more ,better intimate with You than his Father was.He is an example to me in many ways. Fathers look at the ways how youre sons grow.

I personally was treated in this 2 weeks with such intimacy with God,let me tell you 3 stories.

1 As I was preparing a message to speak to the old ladies I could feel in my heart,God was with me.During my message I started crying and as I spoke I could feel the LOVE God has for these old people and I could encourage them.

2 Leadership is always a blessing to my heart and when you encounter young people who want to succeed,you put every thing into it.When the camp was finished I got so much positive feedback,even a booking for 2011 with words - We want Stanley to do Leadership Training, I was blessed and to know that I can work with these leaders during their school year was an extra bonus, a choclate treat.

3 I was speaking at a youth convention and I could see that they were enjoying themselves and afterwards one of the young people came to me and said - that was for me.

God treats us with so many treats, lets be aware of HIS treats in our lives.

Fatherhood

This is such a joy talking on this subject,Being a FATHER.

I was part of a camp this weekend where I could once again experience and see the damage a Father figure can cause,my good friend and Pastor Eric Garnie was a speaker at this camp.He spoke on God the Father,His acceptane,His blessing and His nurture and protection and Forgiveness ON His sons and Daughters.

Does our Fathers add up to this?,sadly no.Do we have perfect Fathers? no.

I ask myself how can I be a better Father to my children and to the young people I minister to. You know what,by affirming sonship and blessing them and guiding them into the ways of GOD.

Last weekend we had a leadership conference,myself and Pastor Eric teamed up to share valuable insight to Leaders on Going Deeper, Going Greater , Going Further with God, based on Peter's life.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, having a Father figure next to me.

My own Father on that night called us together and said to Us,My children I love you,I am proud of what you do,you dont give me trouble and I want to bless you,My earthly Father not only encouraged us but blessed us with some finance too.

During this two weeks I thought about the Father Figures in my life ,there were those who taught me how to play Rugby,there were those who were my close friends who guided my life with insight , there were those who shaped me in ministry and still does.

I AM DEEPLY THANKFULL FOR FATHERS WHO TAKE INITIATIVE IN THE LIVES OF THEIR CHILDREN AND GUIDE THEM INTO SONSHIP.

Pastor Eric conluded the evening with blessing these young people by hugging and praying for them and telling them to take GOD by the Hand to forgive their Fathers.

Are you a Father Figure?

When JESUS was baptised,the skies open and a voice said "THIS IS MY SON" Wow, GOD said that, here is a clue,start saying to your children and let them see the affirmation and hearing of those words - My Son / My Daughter.

Being a Father is a Mentor, Coach , Friend that you can rely on,approach with no doubt that you will hear the Truth.

Are you a Father, or are you a Sons,Daughters of Fathers , I encourage you,develope the practise of being around Father figures and let them be part of your life and in being a Father,I want to encouge you to be REAL AND AUTHENTIC FATHERS.

I am a Father and I am a son to Fathers.
